I've noticed that fire department brush trucks are the last bastion of decent-condition mid 70's Dodge D-series trucks anymore

I still see 'em around. A guy up the road from me has a '72 long-bed, in black with a white roof and wheels, in good shape....he's been driving it for at least the last 20 years.
