This reminded me of something, LTR... could we possibly get an update on the various Porsches and other Frankenstein's monsters that you and/or your dad are working on?

Unfortunately, the update is that it will probably never happen. He's decided to retire and take up a life of permanent fishing/boating and I don't have the skill to do them by myself. I'll "gently" remind him that we have these half-finished projects, and it's always "next summer". I've given up.

#2, So, Aeropar, Olds-engined 928 are on permanent hold? ...what else was he working on that'll be consigned to the history books?

Your mom still have that yellow Boxster?

#3, Yeah, he still has the Boxster and his IROC. But they've been more or less locked up in the garage, he just drives a regular car now. We got into restoring that old Ford 8N tractor too, but, once we broke it all down, he lost interrest in that and now the parts are so scattered around, I doubt it could be put back together.

#4, Dayyum... I think y'all need to call in American Pickers or Chasing Classic Cars or something :P

"normal car"? Even blandness needs details :P

I'll be honest, I completely forgot that your dad had an IROC project... didn't y'all have a handful of 2nd-gen Firebirds, as well?

Are the Deuce and bulldozer still usable vehicles?

He sold the bulldozer, deuce currently doesn't run, needs new batteries, he just plain gave up.

Has a 2011 Civic now.

I still have an old Firebird and another for parts, but, they've sat for so long, they're junk, for the same reason as above, we'll get to my stuff when his is done, and it never happened.

#6, Do I even want to ask about the 944 or Starion?

#7, I'm in negotiation with a mechanic in the next town to tow them over to his shop where I've promised him the old engines/cores if he lets me store them there where I can get some work done.

#8, IIRC, you're doing a Ford engine swap on the Starion... what's the plan for the 944?

#9, put a working transmission back in it, which I have. But nowhere uncluttered and clear to work on it.
