Infiniti's lineup in the early '90s was quite something, actually. Each model felt "bespoke" as they were localizations of mid-to-higher-end JDM Nissans with no direct equivalent in the USDM Nissan lineup... the I30 and QX4 arriving in '96 was kinda the heralding in of slow decline and downfall, as they were based on vehicles already sitting in American Nissan dealerships... admittedly, they did try reversing that trend with the rebadged Skyline... but only after the Skyline stopped being relevant.
