The guy my dad gave his 1932 Oldsmobile Patrician to has gotten it running and driving, and has plans on fully restoring it eventually...

I never in my life thought I'd ever actually see this car make it THIS far, in terms of condition. I always knew it as that husk stored in tents and garage since I was born, with all its trim and doodads stored in boxes.
