Right, that is a true point, but its german engineering, so it will out run both of these cars. For the price range the 330 Ci is a good choice, although in a straight line the WRX could take the 0-60

I dunno man, of all the cars my family has had, our one german one (a mercedes) broke down the most. Then again, you get lemons from every manufacturer. I've had good experiences as far as reliability with both japansese and american ones, but I can't speak for germans cause i've never had one. But in general terms, I don't think the fact that it's german makes it better.

Doesn't make it worse, either. It's a cool car, but I wouldn't pay that much for one. If it was the same price as the Impreza WRX, the choice would be obvious, but I'd rather soup up something else than have a factory stock car for the same price. Personal preference, though. I just wouldn't pay that much for a car.

Ok I'll agree with that, but the expierience with my family is we have a 325is a 93' and it has a 190000 miles on it and stills runs awesome. We had a 80 something 320i, that car ran forever then we decided to sell it. We had a friend that had a BMW that had a 225,000 on it and was doing ok, also a benz with 175000. We have an E36 M3 right now w/ 60,000, but hey thats not that much, but thats just my expierience. One of my dads friends had a subaru and was having some problems. But if they are the more expensive cars such as skyline GT-Rs, and the Lancer Evos, thats a different story cause they spend tons of time making those.

Right but if I had 46000, I'd take the m3 out of the two, regardless what you could do to the WRX, but hey thats just me and i'm a german car enthusiast.

I mean, how much does this car cost? I know it's a lot, but not the exact figure. I think I could get something that would be more unique (I know i can't say that) for the same price, and get just as good, or better performance. While I know that this car is rare in the US, too most people (myself included) it just looks like another M3.

yeah. for 46000 I could get a lancer evo 7 imported from japan and still have money left over for performance parts. personal preference. Actually, for 46000, I could build me a 600ci 1970 'Cuda, which I'd much rather have, but we're talking about new cars here.

yeah but you get performance alone with stylish looks and handling w/ the M3

I think the Lancer is stylish, and it handles pretty well, seeing as it's a rally car. But whatever. It's a nice car, but I wouldn't buy it for the money. Personal preference.
