Less paint, less weight! What a mod! Hell yeah! Minus door handles, and he has just lightened up his load! OOPS, add 100 lb metal wing. Added 99 lbs.

If it were painted real nice.. and lost the wing.. it wouldn't look too bad.. (those altezzas look better than most)

The paint weight was a good joke, but actualy there was a documented case where a Mercedes race car came to the track and when it was weighed, it was a fraction of pound heavier than the rules allowed, so the engineers quickly sanded the car down to the bare metal, and that was enough to get it in.

strange, usually the rules prevent cars from being under a certain weight. In that case, I guess they'd just spray paint some stuff on...

It was one of their 'Silver Arrows.' I forget which one.
Of course I don't think that's the case with the Cadavalier here. It appears that someone spent all their dough on useless additions, and couldn't afford to paint it. BTW, notice the fit between the bumper and the rear of the car.
