Reminds me of the Caddy from the '80s Corey/Corey* film "Licence to Drive"...that actually was a pretty funny movie.

I love the drunk guy...thinks the Caddy is a Maserati, and steals it, then proceeds to get even more drunk, pukes in the car, and finally passes out with the car going 50...

Hmmm...that movie is apparently out on DVD now...I'll have to see about picking it up... some of my favorite character actors are in it... Carol Kane, Richard Masur, James Avery...

The destroyed E24 BMW in the end was actually trashed by Bruce Willis in an episode of Moonlighting. Legend has it that the production of that show got it cheap because a partially decomposed body was found in the trunk and the smell wouldn't quite come out.

#8, That is an incredible connection. Wes wanting a BMW the whole movie played into having that car perfectly. They didn't even have to "wreck" a car for a gag, they just used what was available. Brilliant.
