Wow ure gay. The reason I put it up here is to show that not all Hondas are slow and ricey. Here's a prime example of a great car that has the balls to back it up. By the way what the fuck do you drive probably a Rustang or Camaro Super Slow. Well they're not all that slow but you I hope you get what I mean. And if you dont what I'm trying to say is that not all Honda's are slow.

most of them are, though. including yours. a 50 to 75hp nitrous kit doesn't make a car fast, it just gives it a slight extra kick. it takes a lot more than that to make a honda fast.

HAHA...Gay is in the eye of the beholder. Man...think about it...you have a car that needs flipping NITROUS to make it faster...but still slower than a MUSTANG or CAMARO SUPERSPORT. I can see why you are so bitter, realizing that even with the pointless THOUSANDS upon THOUSANDS of dollars you pour into your ricebox, you still can't even touch real American muscle. Hondas are all slow. They are produced to be slow. A real car is built and intended to be fast...not rigged to be fast by a rich kid or poser. Hondas are and always will be economy cars, buddy. Just swallow the truth and move on with your life...and abandon the quest to try to prove you have balls when you really don't. Think about this...you can buy an American prime steak...or you can go to a McDonald's in Japan...no matter how many toppings or how you cook that "all-beef (rice)" patty, you cannot make it compare to the real thing...a quality steak. I am sick of all of these import fans trying to prove speed.

I can understand if you prefer Japanese styling...that is your choice and right. I'm ok with that. But don't try to lie or buy your way into making people THINK your car is faster than a real American muscle car. It's hopeless...give it up.

I agree with you mostly, munkee, but I would like to point out that the S2000 and NSX are pretty damn fast. Imports can be fast, but it takes more work than american cars, because you have less to work with. I've worked with both, and I respect both varieties of cars. I'm not somebody that will have like "ImPorT PoWeR" tattooed on my arm, or "Musclecars Forever" or something. I respect anything that is fast, and it is entirely possible to make a civic that is pretty quick. It just takes more than a sticker and a muffler.

I am entirely unprejudiced with regards to fast cars. If you could make a Ford Festiva fast, I would like it. Fast doesn't allways mean the same thing, either. Fast for a Civic is high 12s, generally. Fast for a Camaro is low 10s. They start at different places in the level of power, and so can't be expected to perform at the same level. Civics are good little cars. They're not sports cars, but they CAN be fast.

Yeah I understand there ARE some fast imports, and believe me, I don't hate them. I owned a German car...it's just the fact that the majority of imports are economy cars, and there should not a be an attempt to pose them as anything else. Sure they can be great cars...and look nice, but don't have the attitude and prejudice against people who can "walk the walk". Those people are the ones I can't stand...oh look at my phat Civic, I can kill your Rustang. Hey...I see more vintage Mustangs on the road than I do fast Hondas.

There's a '71 Nova in my garage that will beat ANY Honda, but what will that prove? Nothing? Geesh man, lighten up, I think you are the judgemental jerk...and I am sure the Trroper doesn't appreciate your homophobic slurs. Anyways...a riced out car is not WORTH more than a stock one even, maybe even less. Trust me...I had a car that I put some money into to customize it, and I got hit head on by an idoit in an Eclipse. The insurance company will look at the car in comparison to what a new one's condition would be, and trust me, you will lose ALL and more of what your put into the car. Anyways...ANY car can be made fast with enough money...look at Jay Leno's Festiva! That doesn't make it a fast car...that makes it a car with a lot of wasted money, because you could have bought a car with comprable performance for a lot less, and when it gets totalled in an accident, if it's not your fault by being stupid and street racing to try prove you "have balls", you'll get it ALL back.

well, ya know i street race my eclipse, i always have and i always will...and i havent gotten in a accdent yet, ever. and i dont belive at all that winning just about every other race i enter makes my balls bigger, just my wallet:)

Yeah until you get tossed in jail for stupidity. Street racing is STUPID, dangerous, illegal, and pointless. It's for people who are too insecure or drive cars that won'ty make it on a track or strip...where cars are meant to be raced. I can pick on Eclipses and Hondas on any street and beat a lot of them, but what's that prove? I bet you would race any econobox you pull up beside at a light...but let's see what happens if you pull up beside a Trans Am or Cobra? Where's your speed and confidence then? I, and most people on the site will agree, cannot stand that attitude. And the movie Fast and Furious just glorifies people with bad attitudes.

I used to street race, and I still do on occaision, but I agree that it's dumb and dangerous when done by most people. Organized streetracing is fairly safe, since you usually go to an industrial road with no intersections and plenty of room. I prefer the track, but the night races can be a lot of fun. And McMunkee, I used to take on cobras and trans ams all the time in my eclipse. Sure, I'd lose from time to time, but it was fun, and most of the cobra/trans am owners thought it was cool that I had a FWD car that was just as fast or faster than their cars.

Yeah I hear ya...I have a friend with a Neon that can beat most cars and keep up with V8's (see 1401)...but he doesn't have that ATTITUDE that I hate...like someone said to me this morning "Yo...this car has more money into it than you make in a year, that makes it fast" I mentioned how Jay Leno made a Festiva fast and that's really cool, but you don't see him insulting people and their cars just because he made a car fast, do you? See my point? I have NOTHING against people who fix up their cars...I have done a lot of it in the past...but I never turned into a hateful little homeboy.

this car could be fast if you want to put in a lot of money. I think anything can be fast.... if you put the money into it. Also it looks like an ealry 90s car or late 80s car which mean it has a little weight on it.

oh, and I disagree with you about the F&F. While that movie did feature a lot of rice, the characters didn't dis musclecars or anything. Actually, the one musclecar in the movie was presented as the Ultimate Car, to be held in awe at all times. Under those stickers were a lot of fast cars, though.

Maybe the characters in the movie didn't have bad attitudes, but most people I have met who pattern their cars after ones in that movie (look around this site also) have that typical riceboy attitude.

In response to "Honda Racer", the Altezzas and the stickers make it rice my friend. Still, who really cares if you have nitrous. That means you have nitrous on an economy car. Wow.
