Description:
1978 Olds cutlass Salon. In 1978 Buick and Oldsmobile introduced fastback 2 door and 4 door sedans. people didn't buy them and instead bought the Regal and Cutlass coupes. in 1980 they were given convential sedans and after 1980 the 2 door sedans were discontinued

I've always liked this bodystyle...the 2 doors more so than the 4s.

Unfortunately, the last 2 door I remember seeing was a beater black one on one of those police video shows. The cops PITted it and it hit a ditch and flipped a bunch of times. :(

I hear they were trying to make them look like the early 70s fastbacks. But they just came out looking like ass. Problem is the cars were boxy while the earlier ones had been more round.
