#661, No! Trust me, I have no problems with four wheel drifts on tarmac or oversteer slides on gravel*. At speed, you just lift off and watch the rear end step out. Then you punch it (I have 78hp so I can punch: if you have 200 this is not recommended), countersteer (if you need) and you're through and on to the next corner.
*So OK: I pulled off tarmac four wheel drifts only a couple of times (mostly during my illegal visit to the kart track) and went sideways through a corner on gravel once... the fear of crashing... but it is easy.

I'm going to go shoot a video of the 20V popping off a few 10K shifts underneath a local freeway overpass for y'all. I'll do it tonight after the sun goes down so you can see the little trickles of flame that shoot out of the exhaust. |

#670, your mr2 has 5 valves/cylinder? is that some kind of a race head, or what?
i'm not impressed though, i would be if it had 8 valves and 4 pushrods, hahaha

#672, I have two. One is a tuned 16V bigport "redtop" 4AGE like you find in all North American cars, the other is a 20V "silvertop" 4AGE that was never sold outside of Japan and was never offered in the MR2. It's a pretty common swap, but mine has a few tricks up it's sleeve.

#654, I was wondering about that too. Sounds like Boston. |
