I actually drove one just like this, except it was red.

We bought it used for me to drive to school (had just got my driver's license), thinking it would get great gas mileage. What a joke. The thing got like 17mpg highway driving.

The end of the car finally came when the spark plug sleeve was blown out of the head. Sounded like a 12-gauge shotgun going off under the hood (and that is not an exaggeration). Mechanic said we'd have to replace the head. We sold the car for like $600.

Anytime I see a Geo Storm I think the dark blue hatchback one that used to drive around here about 8 years ago (wasn't very old at the time). The guy bought one that had flipped, and it had a caved in roof, no windows, and no driver's door, and for some reason lurched and blew smoke whereever he drove it. It wasn't a titled/licensed car, but the guy only used it for tooling around backroads.

I was just thinking about the diffrent 2 door wagons that have been sold in the US. i believe the first was Bantam in the 30s. Then Ford and Mercury introduced theirs in 1949 and in the 50s most companies that had wagons had a 2 door version but by the 60s they stopped selling them. then in the 70s Chevy and Ford offered the vega and Pinto in 2 door wagon form. then in the 80s there was the VW Fox and there was also a wagonback option for Nissan Pulsar then came the Geo Storm wagon here. And I think that's all of them.
