I love F40s even more after I learned that they were basically a rebodied 288GTO with a more powerful engine and tweaked chassis.

#1, Yeah, they were originaly going to be race versions of 288 GTOs. But that got canned after the cancelation of some race series due to deaths on the track.

I used to like the F50 more than the F40, but that has now changed.

I honestly never liked F50s. Too jellybean shaped for my tastes. I mean, I respect their performance and exclusivity, but that doesn't mean I have to like them.

I like my car designs with a little edge. A little depth...which is why I like modern work-truck front ends rather than their civilian smooth front-end counterparts.
