this had confused me for the longest time. You see it has the Cherokee/84+ rear end, but the nameplate said Wagoneer. I had assumed that all 84+ Grand Wagoneers had woodgrain, but looking through my Jeep book last night, I came acrosss omething called the Custom Wagoneer, which is apparently quite rare.
