#2, Nope. Chrysler Airflow. It was a test to show the public the benefits of a completely steel-construction car.

#4, Cars waaaay ahead of their time usually don't sell well. The public doesn't know what to make of them. They're too different...

The Chrysler/DeSoto Airflow/Airstream, the Tucker Torpedo, the Hudson Jet, Studebaker Avanti, etc, were all pretty much failures, save for maybe the Avanti, since it had such a cult following and devoted builders.

#7, notice the :P well it was one of the first not entirely boxy desgins from Gm so it was kinda ahead of its time, or something.

#9, Many cars had quite a large amound of wood in their construction back then... in the doors, the floor, the roof, etc.
