Description:
A local Studebaker truck. Has a 472 cubic inch Cadillac engine and a chevy truck bed. I remember seeing this one at the Whaling City festival in 2004.

Sadly, that ill-fitting bed doesn't fit any worse than the factory Studebaker bed did.

#1, I mean, didn't they essentially take a Lark body, put it on a truck chassis, and couple it with generic square utility bed?

Yep. They didn't really have the money to resign their aging trucks, so they just used Lark sheetmetal and paired it with the old bed designs (their fleet side bed was already a relatively new release, so they didn't want to spend the money to design yet another one).

#3, Would love to see a custom where someone actually fabs a truck bed that matches the Lark's B-pillar-forward styling.

#4, Thom Taylor did an illustration years ago one with Lark Wagon quarters as bed sides. I wish I could find an example of it online.
