However, it really irks me when lame, cut-rate automotive "journalists" put it on lists of "ugliest cars" and/or "worst designed/engineered cars"... the Yugo was a reasonably handsome econobox, albeit perhaps a bit boring and outdated, but in no way was it ugly... and it was built on top of a really decent older Fiat chassis. Fiat knew/knows how to engineer a proper small car chassis, and the Yugo benefitted from that.
