Dodge Razor - 6 speed, 2.4 ltr, 4 cyl, 250 hp ... "Aimed at young driving enthusiasts, the Razor concept was designed with a targeted sticker price of US $ 14,500". Umm.. wow.. 250 hp for 14,500.. a ricers dream.. if this comes out no more civics.. and I thought this was kinda funny...
"Dodge Razor has a simple shape with every line offering an abundance of emotion and purpose," said Akino Tsuchiya, who developed the exterior with Kevin Verduyn. "Razor's dramatic proportions scream 'I'm bold, I'm powerful, I'm Dodge'. The in-your-face 'Orange Slice' body color reflects the same attitude."
Umm.. Yeah.. |

I think someone really liked MR•S's (the designer that is).
My question is, is it turbo'd or is it NA? And is it AWD? FWD + Stock 250 HP = HOWDY TORQUE STEER.
Those aren't bad specs. Although I doubt this car will ever make it. Especially THAT price, unless that quoted price is baseline car without that kind of horsepower. |

It's definitly odd lookin. I'll have to see it in person before I decide whether I think it's ugly or not. And if it actually hit the showroom floor w/250 hp for ~15k, it'd look a little better to me, too. |

as usual, it'll probably be detuned if it ever goes into production... Else it'd be too good of a bargain, and Dodge won't be able to keep with it... imagine the demand for a sub 20K, 250hp, rwd car... |

Waaait a second.. 250 HP 4 cylinder and RWD? I think we have a new "American" drift car here, if it gets off the showcar circuit. Even if it is detuned, as long as it remains pretty light (below 3000lbs), it'll terrorize A stock autocross for cheap, and mountain roads (If I got my hands on it, that is :P). |

Engine: 2.4-liter I-4 turbocharged w/intercooler
Estimated Power: 250 bhp. (187 kW)
Estimated Torque: 230 lb.-ft. (312 Nm)
Transmission: Six-speed manual transmission
Drive: Rear-wheel drive
Est. Weight: 2500 lbs. (1134 kg)
Yeah.. RWD... But get this.. no mirrors.. no radio.. no power windows..no power seats.. no leather.. just 2 racing style lightweight seats.. NO RADIO!?!?! There is no way in hell ill go anywhere w/out music(kinda reminds me of the time I was 16 and my friend had a peon and she broke her cd player and we hooked a discman up to 2 computer speakers and had to mount them to the dashboard.. ghetto huh?).. ooOOOoo but it does come w/ 2 razor scooters... umm.. is that REALLY necessary? I would def. rather have a radio. And the "in your face orange slice" color doesn't do anything for me other.. BUT.. its not a bad lil car.. but whether or not it will be produced.. ehh.. I doubt it... |

With specs like that? SOLD.
I'll even ride a dorky RAZOR SCOOTER if I got to drive it, although not in public.
Power items are gushy unnessicary things. Who needs radios when you have the sound of a six-speed? |

Sound is subject to interpretation some people ooze over a gruff american V-8 while others find the mechanical whine of a 2.0 liter turbo intoxicating. To each his own i say! |

I happen to enjoy both but having been the proud owner of a 71 mustang and a WRX
I have to say that v-8 grumble will always have a special place in my heart. |

I'd love to have it. Color can always be changed, and if you've got the money, get a system instaled. If you don't have the money, get a boom box. (If you HAVE to have music.) |

Lucifer once again i must corect you. I've driven 2 vipers an R/T 10 and a GTS. Thay both sounded awsome. The only complaint I would have is the noise in the cabin. But I dont mind that becous I love and recpect Mopar muscle. |
