It recently struck me how long it's been since I've seen one of these.... .I knew they were dying premature deaths from engine design faults, but, did they really expire THAT quickly?

#1, I'm guessing it's a regional thing. There are still lots of them around my area. Most owners seem to take care of them, it's the stupid young kids who trash them because racecar. My local Craigslist has a few dozen S2000s for sale right now ranging from super-clean low mileage garaged examples with "all papers" to some questionable tuners and one wrecked one. Maybe back east they just rust out?

There's a yellow one with blue wheels running around here. Only one I've seen in years.

Saw one yesterday in traffic... totally stanced out with a fartcan. The car in front of him wasn't going when the light turned green, so rather than use his horn, he just revved the hell out of his engine.

#4, Probably used the power to the horn to feed neon lights or something, so it no longer works anyway....

I see them from time to time. There's two stanced ones near me, and one red one that should've been totaled but has been rebuilt.
