golfs are just huge now. i parked next to a GTi and aside from the length it dwarfed my car. its a fatty. |

Anyone remember the XM radio commerical where the guy drives to work in one of these and actually drives it into the building, into the elevator, and up to his desk?
Obviously they aren't small enough to actually do all of that, but still when the guy gets out you can see how small it is compared to him. |

id bet it gets great fuel milage. small car + small engine= big MPG? who wouldve thunk it. we dont need hybrids. sorry trooper. though i will say it is good for better fuel milage out of a somewhat larger car i.e. prius. i dont think the benefits out weigh the costs in my opinion. ford's hybrid suvs suck. 33mpg? you can get a mazda 626 and get those numbers. its same chassis anyways. [/rant] (sorry)

#3, Don't know about fuel milage. The engine is a high revving DOHC with two or four 2bbl carbs. The car is very light, though. |
