I find it quite impressive that these things run mid 9's and lower on slicks than wide, with "only" 1.3 L :p

#2, Rotaries are champions of power to weight. With a regular piston engine displacement is important, since piston engines are never exactly going to be light for their size, but with these it's a different matter.

and displacement adding is relatively easy so i hear. endplate>rotor>endplate>rotor etc... how reliable that many rotaries will be is another issue though.
