AC, I watch both the American Le Mans series as well as the real le mans. The problem with that is, those are NOT m3s. Those are purpose-built GT cars that share styling with the car that they're named after. Also, it depends on how you define handling. I define it as a combination of skidpad and slalom speed, but some do it otherwise.

I"m not saying its better, you guys are missing the fact that its my opinion, if you don't like it then argue it w/ me and I'll see it your way also so I get two sides of the story. I really don't like this battle thing, I mean sorry for bringing up another BMW's i guess i'll start to bring something else up.

Besides, with the new GT40 coming out and supposedly stickering for around $80K, I can't see much point buying an M5 with which the GT40 would mop the floor, and which looks exactly like every other 5-series with some blindly loyal Beemer asshole behind the wheel on his cell phone cutting everyone else off because he's BETTER THAN THEM because he drives a BMW, DAMMIT.

And i'm also not saying that I hate mopar cause I don't, I was just stating that those guys love to talk about they're mopars and make comparisons as much as I do w/ BMW's, but if you really have that big of a problem w/ it i'll stop i guess.

Just out of curiosity, and because I'm in the mood to be a bastard and start fights, how many Fords do you have experience with, Mindspynn? Your mom's Mustang, and how many others? You can get a lemon from any company. It's retarded to judge a company based on one particular car. My Thunderbird has nearly 100,000 miles on it, and it's never been in the shop, except for a repaint and A/C service.

My dad has had 3 consecutive shitty cars from Ford. A friend had gotten a new F-150, 2 weeks after driving it off the lot.....the exhaust system failed, then fell out. PLUS, take into consideration how many recalls they have...that just screams shit to me.

My honda just went to junk at 180K, clutch is bad, brakes are bad, CV's are bad, does that mean honda can't build good cars? No, just means this one is near the end of it's life, probably a function of the piss-poor maintenence It got before I got it. Any number of things can add up to screw a car over, and Max is right, you get the occasional lemon from EVERYONE, you know what they say about cars built on a Friday

And YOUR Vipers are soon to be known as GT40 victims. Don't get me wrong, I love Vipers. In fact, I like most Dodges. But blind, fanatical loyalty to any car company is ridiculous. So I thought I'd take this opportunity to warn you that Dodge's days as maker of America's fastest production car are numbered.

EVERONE has recalls. Including Dodge. My mom has a '91 Caravan (with 170,000 miles on it, only major problem was a blown-out tranny and warped brake rotors after a tow in the Rockies) and it's been in for recalls at least six times.

yes now just like me and my expierences w/ our BMW's, we have a 93' 325is (and a 95 Schnitzer M3) and the 325is has a 190,000 and is still running really strong, no problems, they are great cars. I also don't have a problem w/ vipers hatin or mopar, my second car is hopefully gonna be a Dodge Stealth R/T T.

yeah CRX I see why and what your name is, my family does tons of autocrossing so i've got to see how good german cars are at handling, performance, and reliability. I think you guys took my first comment the wrong way, there was no way I was hating on this, I honestly like this car a lot, I was just saying that the M5 could take it simply because me and someone else had a long chat on it.

ACSchnitzer.. as much as I love dodge.. I wouldn't go for the R/T TT.. everyone I know that has had the stealth has engine/tranny problems.. but then it isn't 100% dodge.. I blame Mits for its problems

But Ford has the most. As for Vipers....the new Ford won't kill them. They just revampted the engine(didn't need to but they did) and if I remember correctly has around...what was it Hatin...560hp? More than the GT40. But then again we won't know for sure till it comes into production. Then you have the Venom factor, and the driver factor. I'm a firm believer in the fact that you can have the fastest car in the world but put a shitty driver in there and it does you no good. Drivers have a lot to do with it.

2.4? that is kinda hard to believe, but I don't kno shit about old/ Mopar cars, I'm gonna look that up cause that is incredibly fast, the fastest car i've ever seen that was in production was the Dauer Le Mans ( I posted on this site) that does it in like 2.6 w/ 600 hp. But i'm not doubting you hatin.
