The idea behind Super 2000 was to build a cheaper alternative for N4 cars (Impreza and Evo). Building a top-spec N4 cars costs around 200k USD, S2000 car were supposed to be chaper. They are not. Congrats FIA, you fail at teh motorsports again.
Or maybe not. Super 1600 is in decline, and already Fiat, VW and Toyota have built S2000 cars... question is, will private teams be willing to pay for them?
