#1, they were very nice.I didn't sit in it, sadly, but they let me touch it. It was fucking amazing. When you see an exotic car up close, it feels WAY different than seeing one in pictures. It was incredible. When we were leaving, I saw a "fun race" between a 996 Turbo and a SL65 AMG. Both cars sounded AMAZING. I also got to see a CLS55 AMG up close and the new S550. My favorite car was obviously the SLR but the Maybach 57 came in second. One dude at the Porsche dealer kinda irked me though. He was trying to show me around and he confused a 997 with a Cayenne. I went to the BMW dealer the saleslady was really nice (helpful and good looking I might add). We got to talking about BMWs and cars in general. Turns out she has an M3 cab (yeah I know).She took me into the back of the dealership, and into her "office". I was amazed. She had posters of E36s, E46s, and a nice Autoart 1/18 CSL. I went back into the stockroom with her guidance, and she let me look around. I got a few nice pictures, but I was mostly too in awe to realize what I was seeing. As I was leaving, she gave me some brochures they had leftover (only a few were out).
Her quote on the E92 3 series-- "I'm sorry, but the E46 was a nice car than this thing, but imho the E36 is an even better driving car than both."
Her response to a clueless customer with a Z3 1.9 who swore up and down that his POS was better than an M roadster-- "You have got to be joking, son. You mean to tell me that your barely 2 liters of automatic Z3 is a better driving car than a M Roadster? I'm sorry but I would NEVER drive a base Z3 with the 1.9. Comparing the 1.9 to an M is like compared a Cavalier Z24 to Corvette." I walked by and said "she's right you know". He got all red and the saleslady just smirked over and starting laughing.

Hahahaha, nice story! Sounds like a fun day out. Nothing sexier than a good looking female with a knowledgeable passion for cars. The SLR is growing on me, too.
