It's a Hillman, it arguably deserves no better

From Wiki:
"Imps were often portrayed as lonely little creatures always in search of human attention. They often used jokes and pranks as a means of attracting human friendship, which often backfired when people became tired or annoyed of the imp's endeavors, usually driving it away."

Sounds about right.

#2, Ya know, just put that name up there in the annals of car history, under the headline "Do you even know WHAT you named the car after?" It can go right up there with AMC deciding that "Gremlin" was a great car name.

Hello?

A Gremlin is a mythological beast that DESTROYS MACHINERY..... WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!

#3, Not really name-related, but when Lincoln had Shiny Toy Guns cover "Major Tom (Coming Home)" for their MKZ commercial, I had to laugh...

...it's a song about a man being stranded in space due to his vehicle malfunctioning.

#4, That song gets used (inappropriately) a lot... over the years I've seen it applied to lots of things that use a rocketship motif, and I came to the same conclusion.

It's not a "happy" song people!

#4, Lincoln used a cover of "Space Oddity" in a commercial at around the same time, a song which of course was about the same subject and the same "character."
