Y'know, looking at this styling, the Dodge Monaco/Eagle Premier could have been marketed at the Euro-sedan crowd... they were good enough... or maybe I'm just looking through biased, rose-tinted glasses.

#2, Well, Europeans bought their share of Chrysler Saratogas, so I don't see why it wouldn't have been similarly successful. Especially considering the Monaco/Premier was a bit closer to the European sedan formula.
