Phew, I accidentally found myself doing that once in Detroit, luckily it was an uncrowded two lane road behind a building. Still coulda been messy though.

Saw someone in an early 90s Caravan going the wrong way down Davol St in Fall River a few months back, got a few hundred feet before they realized it.

I spy Olds Firenza too.

I've done this so many times trying to navigate downtown Chicago, love my hometown but DAMN - so many alternating one-ways, the EL, diagonal streets, millions of cabs and different levels makes for confusing progress.

#4, if you think that's bad try NYC. Hell, I think even we had trouble in Chicago the last couple times we went. Trying just to navigate with cabs cramming 4 wide down streets = not fun. But, Lakeshore Drive is pretty when you can see the lake. Honeytree school sucked ass though.

#5, The whole fucking city is gorgeous - I've been to many places but Chicago still ranks as prettiest city in my eyes.

Word of advice-don't drive through Chinatown during Chinese New Year's, it also seemed they were about 40 million different conventions in Boston yesterday.

#6, hometowns usually definitely do though. :) I lived in Chicago when I was 4 for awhile. I have vague memories of seeing this beater brown AMC sedan on the way to school once, and that for some reason or another it hit a city bus.
