That's what you get when you take that sort of car to Costco for a tire rotation.

nah foo its the drift setup. I wonder what it would look like with the rear tires on all fours with a bit of poke and concaved wheels.

There used to be a CTS in my building like this. Lady drove it like that for awhile, then one day I saw it on a tow truck. Not sure if driving with incorrectly rotated tires can fuck something up?

What's the probability all three cars in this picture no longer exist?

#4, High. I'd pretty much guarantee the BMW is dead. The Cavalier, probably. They do seem oddly unkillable sometimes, but they've held the status of "disposable car" for decades now.

The Aerostar was obviously still intact as an older vehicle even when the picture was taken, so possibly still around? They are a bitch to work on, though. Few bother with them, even now.

I've heard this as well, and possibly the biggest contributing factor to them not surviving to the same extent as similar era Astros/Safaris. Apparently a TON of compromises were made to fit a re-engineered Ranger drivetrain into that aerodynamic van shape.

#6, I still recall trying to change the spark plugs in an '80s Aerostar. Lying in a puddle of spilled beer on the carpet, reaching blindly shoulder-deep into the doghouse, trying to get every plug out just by feel.

#7, Also fiberglass hoods, bumpers that splinter apart and rear hatches that become deadly weapons if the struts fail. I've been through enough of them in junkyards, but a friend of mine still really likes them and was considering buying one as a camping vehicle.
