This shape of wagon is totally my childhood. My parents didn't have one, but quite a number of other kids I knew, their parents had 'em.

#1, I always associated them with families in movies and TV. I only knew one girl whose mother drove a silver Buick wagon of this type, and I'd occasionally see strangers driving them around.

Maybe it's cause I was born in '88 but a lot of the family cars of friends or acquaintances of mine were either first gen Explorers, 4-door Blazers, or Taurus and Sable wagons. We were the Explorer family ever since I was 4 or 5.

#5, I would if I didn't call dips on sitting back there - provided I could even fit.

BTW - did these have a redundant window switch for the tailgate glass or was there just one at the dash?
