Abandoned Mitsubishi Mirage with a dodgy paint job we towed in, when we checked with the cops to try and find it's owner, turns out it's stolen too....

I wonder if the owner of the car did that horrible paint job, or if the thief attempted a GTA-style "Pay 'n Spray."

#2, I wouldn't be too surprised if it was the second option. I don't think an old Mirage would be on anybody's "hot list", it's possible that the crook stole it from a parking lot after a burglary or someone might have lifted it for a gang initiation (it happened to my uncle). And they might have tried to disguise it with paint...which might work if you viewed it from a distance.

Turns out this is really an Eagle Summit, same car, different name, we just didn't know until the VIN was decoded, every single badge on the car is either gone or painted over.
