Apparently, in the Top Gear £100 car challenge, James May wanted to buy one of these... but the production staff had to plead with him to buy a more "normal" vehicle... they couldn't tell him the reason, as the last test, crashing the vehicle into a wall at 30mph, was a secret...

Gee, you mean they wouldn't want one of their presenters crashing one of these vans into a wall?

DVLA states that this is a 1969, with a 1.7 liter petrol engine and the factory green color. The registration is current.

that's really interesting. does anyone have a guess of what the divot in the bumper is? Looks like theres a crank or something behind it.

#3, Hole for a backup handcrank starter would be my guess. I know some Peugeots up into the '60s still had backup handcrank starters.
