There's a black-and-white picture of this car in my 924/944 history book, I had no idea they hung on to it, I thought it had long ago been cleared out of inventory for scrap.
At least I know what color it is now

#2, I'm fairly sure it's a working car from the ground up, they had already tested out the proposed engine/transmission/running gear when they built this. Incidentaly, the test hulk for that 924 driveline was an old BMW. |

#4, Wide flanks with a narrow rear wheelbase....brings to mind Citroen DS/ID, the SM, and to a lesser extent, the GS. |
