Description:
The Topper Buick, a 1937 Buick Century with custom bodywork by Bohman & Schwarz, used in the 1937 movie "Topper". The car has since been further modified and now rides on a Chrysler chassis.

After filming, the car was sold to Gilmore Oil to promote their Red Lion gasoline (pulling a lion cub in a trailer, no less). In the '40s, Mobil Gas bought Gilmore and had the body facelifted and placed on the Chrysler chassis. In the '70s in was bought by Movie World in Buena Park, CA. Now it sits in the Petersen Museum in LA.
