#3, yeah :) The Vibe kinda.. fell apart.. the Mini is.. well... it's suffering from BMW "out of warranty" maintainence issues. So, we kinda needed a new vehicle :)
50k miles, fully loaded, aroundview monitor, rearview cams, heated seats, etc etc. The ride is something to get used to. Coming from other crossovers/SUVs.. well.. it rides like a 350Z does; sporty, very firm, handles quite well for its size. Lexus RX owners and Mercedes ML owners would hate it; 350Z'G35/G37 owners wouldn't see much change from those cars. |

This was exactly the vehicle I was going to get so I got questions:
1) Is the mpg really that bad? I've been seeing 15 and below mpg (even single digits) in some forums.
2) Is the ride "much stiff" in comparison to, lets say, a ford regular ol' car?
3) Since you have the FX45, how does the power feel in comparison to other cars you drove?
I want one but the mpg worries me big time. Especially when gas goes to $4.00+.

#5, MPG with a heavy foot is 8-11 city, probably closer to 15ish on the highway at 75. The ride.. it rides like a 350Z. Very stiff, it rides like a Mini Cooper S if that's any indication. We drove an ML350, Saab 9-7X, Range Rover Sport, a Cayenne S (and a Cayenne 3.2). I'd say the horses aren't really noticeable for the in-city driving that this mostly sees. Where the power does matter, though, is in the slippery surfaces. Even with the 20s, this handles snow and ice like nobodies business, though the ride through through/over the snow isn't exactly soft. The exhaust note is wonderful beyond belief though, and yes, you do hear the burble inside the cabin. You know when Nissan mad the tagline for the Maxima the "four door sports' car"? They should've reserved it for this, because that's exactly what this is. |

8-11 mpg in the city? Crap...
I really wanted one too but I can't deal with 8-11 mpg. The FX35 won't get much better. Oh well, I'll just get a G37x, slap some wheels on it, and call it a day. |

#7, G37x is probably going to get maybe 15ish if my friend's G35X is any indication. He does have a rather heavy foot, though. |
