#4, I'll be honest, I didn't help matters... I started off that thread in a rather grumpy and accusatory manner, and it all went downhill from there.

#4, Maybe he hit the tree avoiding the deer. Or the deer was in the back seat and it attacked him a la Tommy Boy and caused him to crash into the tree. Or maybe he hit the deer and the deer went up onto the hood and held on to the windshield wipers and threatened him with verbal insults and the promise of fleas and rabies until Cash swerved off the road trying to make it lose its cloven-hoofed grip and the car flew through the air, in silhouette E.T. style, across the full moon before slamming into a tree. And the deer ran off to tell his friends the crazy story and no one on the woodland forums believed him either.
