Probably because the owners discovered they could get a better* sports car elsewhere.

*Depends on what your idea of "better" is. I still like these cars, though I personally wouldn't own one.

#1, I'd gladly take an LT1/LT4 C4 'Vette. Prices are pretty reasonable on them these days, too.
