Ok, so it wasn't *completely* completed... it appears that the first shop sent my uncle's bike looking beautiful like this, but the electronics were all kinds of screwed up... he sent it to another shop in Brooklyn...

...and when a journalist did an article about said shop, look what they used as a main image...

The story on how my uncle acquired this bike is rather interesting... he ordered it with the intention of going to Italy and picking it up directly from the factory. He got temporary registration for it, then rode it through several countries in Europe to an Atlantic port, watched it get put on the container ship, then flew over and collected it from a dock in America.
