I don't like when the absence of something is accentuated by a trim piece, only serving to remind you more of what is missing... in this case, the grille.

Same thing with the black trim pieces on the side of the Ram Cargo Van... I prefer panel vans where the now-missing windows AREN'T so obvious.

#2, Ditto. Or on cars without foglights (my C-Max is an example), where the light area is nothing but black plastic. :/

#3, Yeah, that drives me nuts as well... it's honestly one of many reasons I opted to get the higher trim-level of my car. (Main reason being cruise control)

When a carmaker can make the blanking on the foglights areas look "natural" on lower trim-level cars, I appreciate that.

#4, Aka not Ford. :P I think the 2006-2013 Impala is the worst offender for that. The lower-spec front fascias look absolutely terrible.
