From the placard:
"Beginning in 1929, Germany's Karosseirewerke Drauz AG developed an on-going relationship with Ford. With a cost five times that of a production 1932 Ford, this one-off example with Drauz coachwork is said to be the most distinctive and elegant coachwork ever fitted to a Ford chassis. Its custom body is framed in oak and ash with mahogany panels, is 12 inches wider and weighs 500 pounds more than regular production models. It shares the same quality features and appointments typically found in custom bodies made for Mercedes-Benz, Maybach and Horch of the era, such as burl-grained hardwood, Wilton wool carpets, padded top with headliner and ivory tusk knobs. After a thorough restoration, it made its U.S. debut at the 2003 Pebble Beach Concours and has since appeared in shows all across America with many first place wins."
