You'd be surprised how many fat guys drive these around.... or maybe you just notice it more? Fat guy drives F-250, not obvious. Fat guy in Geo Metro? Obvious.

Back when Festivas weren't uncommon, there was always at least one being driven by a 400 pound guy... and one of the larger teachers from my 10th grade drove a then-new 91 Civic hatch that in theory, could've seated more people, but I doubt it in practice.
