GM World Headquarters Mr. CEO! Our branch in Argentina is taking an Opel car, naming it after an unrelated Brazilian Chevrolet, and putting our GMC truck branding on it! Meh. Whatever. Let them do what they want. …oh, and it appears the Pontiac division in America is planning on putting an engine almost as powerful as the Corvette in their Firebird. THIS WILL NOT DO! I WILL HAMSTRING EVERY FUCKING DIVISION IF I HAVE TO TO STOP ANYONE FROM MAKING SOMETHING AS FAST THAN THE ALMIGHTY CORVETTE.

#6, Well, I think by the 2000's GM finally realized how much they were handicapping themselves with the "Nothing faster/more powerful than the Corvette" bullshit line of thinking. Bot Lutz was probably part of that revised line of though.
