This car reminds me of a thread on Pelican Parts about the history of street racing on Mulholland Drive. A lot of the cars they post pictures of from the 1970s are old compacts like this. Lots of Pintos, Vegas, and Capris, complete with rollbars, rolled fender lips, and wide tires.
