The one next to it is the one of the shop's most award-winning restorations... they apparently did a '56 DeSoto as one of their first projects, and it turned out so well, several other '56 DeSoto owners sent their cars to them, including my uncle, obviously. I don't imagine that's what they intended to specialize in, but, hey, I'm sure it gets easier with each one. [Edited by DiRF on 7-04-2014 @ 03:24:58 AM]

Looking at that Adventurer, I have to wonder; why didn't Nascar teams use DeSotos? From what I understand, the Adventurer was just about as high-performance as the C-300/300B. Heck, some of those teams even used Dodge D-500s at various points, but almost never DeSotos.
