Corsairs were the best-looking Edsels in '58, IMO. They had the nicer-looking large body, but weren't as overly garish as the Citation.
I like the shot down the passenger's side. |

Had the economy not been soft, and had Ford not overhyped them so much, the Edsels may have survived the rough launch and been pounded into some kind of workable lineup, the more garish asthetic mistakes had been largely eliminated just as the car was getting axed, I have no issue with the look of 1960 Edsels. Imagine had they hung on and perhaps opted to launch an Edsel version of the Flacon when that came along, that might have made it one of the most inventive and appreciated cars of it's day, instead of a laughingstock. |
