Description:
Abandoned Toyota Celica. The only reason it hasn't been towed away is it's been left on the site of a former chemical plant that nobody wants to go near, let alone bother themselves with policing for unauthorized vehicles.

The clearcoat has apparently decided to leave.... in an orderly fashion.... one section at a time....

Aside from the paint (I see newer Toyotas like this, especially 1993-1997 Corollas), it looks pretty good.

Still there, but the weeds are now over the roofline.....and there's some kind of note on the windshield, but too faded to read if it was a "wanna sell this?" or "move this or else" kind of note...

Wouldn't have noticed at all if I hadn't had my attention drawn to it by the abandoned railroad spur behind the place (that used to serve the also-abandoned Corning plant next door) suddenly having 115 tank cars show up... turns out they're obsolete tankers that don't meet new puncture-resistant standards and are just waiting there until they can be shipped off for scrapping.... I thought for sure nothing would use that track ever again.
