#2, It's what used to be the 1 Series, but BMW's new naming convention puts even numbers on coupes and odd numbers on sedans/SUVs (X4 and X6 are apparently supposed to be considered "coupes").

#3, I still think that naming convention is ludicrously stupid. It ruined the lineage of M3 "coupes"... ...admittedly, the styling of the past half-decade did that, as well.
