I wish I knew how to narrow it down further, but other than the wagons getting silver trim on the C-pillar in 1988 and Brougham models getting a new padded half vinyl top in 1989, 1987-1989 Caprices are pretty much identical. If the paint color is Medium Brown Metallic it would be 1987 only, but Dark Brown Metallic would make it a 1989 model with this roof. It's not possible to tell from the pictures, but back-seat shoulder belts would make it a 1989 model.
