There was a '58 in this color scheme on eBay not long ago, and with a red removable hardtop. Odd indeed, but it kinda works.

I'll be honest, on its own, the quad-headlight C1s look ok... but the single headlight '56/'57s looked much cleaner in appearance... and, then, of course, the Earth-shattering aesthetics of the C2 came long... these just... they were unfortunately sandwiched between better looking model years...

I've grown increasingly fond of the '62s in recent years, especially in Fawn Beige.
