Description:
The Beaver River Trestle in Alberta just outside of Cold Lake Ab. Once a large lovely span, great views amongst the trees at least 60ft off the ground crossing the Beaver river. Once WBMJ came to visit me in my home town and we walked accross it, sans rails at the time. Now just a lonely black husk. but fortunately it will be undergoing repairs. may not be how it used to be, but its something. |

Reminds me of Kinzua Bridge in Pennsylvania, about twice as high, iron, a former Erie Railroad bridge, it became a popular hiking trail after that railroad shut down.
Unfortunately, a few years back, a freak tornado came down the valley and hit it in the middle, knocking it over..... |
