Now there's a familiar mug...

I remember when my mom still had one, I thought it would be neat to get one with the European-style 3-door hardtop bodystyle, and cram the XL7's V6 in it...

I like the first generation better, but I hardly see these anymore. I see more first-generations than these. Were these a bit lower-quality/less reliable than the first generation or something?

#2, The frame rusting through and collapsing at the 9-year-mark would lead me to believe, yes, the 2nd-generation was a lower quality.

#4, Were they even eligible for that program? A vehicle had to be a gas-guzzler... hell, my dad's LHS didn't qualify.

[edit] Just looked it up... like my dad's LHS, some model years were eligible, just not the model year owned by my family.

#5, Hmm oh. I didn't know if they were, just thought of it as an idea. I can't remember the last one I saw up here of this generation. I don't even see them in Lawrence that often either.
