These were the cars that superstock Mopar drag cars were made from. They were built as normal production cars at the factroy, with minimal interiors and street trim, with the assumption that most buyers would be draggers who'd rip the stuff out. The cars also all had warning labels in the glove box that informed the owner that the car had no warranty, and was intended for "Supervised speed trial use only" Uh huh, sure.......

Cool. Sort of the predecessor to Ford's Mustang Cobra R series IN CONCEPT (racecar stripper, no warranty) but probably more reasonably priced.

edit: added words in all caps.

In 1964, they got even better, the Max Wedge engine was replaced w/ a 426 HEMI and the factory option list included acid-dipping the body to rid excess weight. Only one of those 46' Acid dipped cars is known to exsist today, and it was bought by a non-racer who used it as his daily driver!

#7, Yeah yeah yeah, I know what it is.

>_< Me saying that reminded me of the "Live Organ Transplant" sketch from 'Monty Python's Meaning of LIFE'.

Medical technician: Uh, yes, can we have your liver?
Rastafarian Jew: What?
Medical technician: Uh, your liver...it's an organ in your body. Reddish brown, about yea big...
Rastafarian Jew: Yeah yeah yeah, I know what it is, but, I'm using it.
Medical technician: Right. *forces guy up against the wall, takes his wallet, and pulls out card*
Rastafarian Jew: That's my liver donation card!
Medical technician: Need I say more? *pushes guy onto table, pulls out knife*
Rastafarian Jew: But it's in case of DEATH!

*Medical technician starts cutting him open, with the guy flailing about and screaming while blood spurts everywhere*

It's a really GROSS sketch.
